Housing in Chesterfield includes a suburban mix of single family homes, condos, villas and rentals communities.
The eastern portions of Chesterfield tends to be an older area with more affordable prices. The majority of the homes were built in 1960 – 1980, though there are some newer subdivisions built in the 1990s or in the last few years. New subdivisions tend to be tucked in between older subdivisions since almost all of the land has already been developed. Children residing in the older portions of Chesterfield usually attend Parkway School District.
The western portions of Chesterfield are newer and typically higher priced with children attending the Rockwood School District.
