Housing Profile:
Ladue is an affluent inner-ring older suburb in St. Louis County. Housing consists of older single family homes. There are virtually no condominiums available in Ladue. Properties range from small ranch homes to grand homes in exclusive subdivisions. As one of the most expensive communities in St. Louis County, starter homes and homes needing extensive renovation will still be priced in the $300s.
All of the land in the district is developed, so new construction homes almost always are the result of an older home being torn down. Some of these new homes are huge mansions located on semi-busy streets, others are moderate sized homes in subdivisions surrounded by tiny ranch homes. The rare completely new subdivision will be priced at a premium.
