Lately I’ve been getting a lot of telemarketing calls on my home and cell phones. I was registered through the Missouri Do Not Call List, but it must have expired as my home phone (which is really only used for faxes) has been ringing a lot lately.
I just re-registered my home phone on the Missouri Do Not Call List again, and also registered my home and cell phones on the National Do Not Call List. The good news is that there is no expiration on the National registration. However, if your phone gets disconnected and then reconnected, you may need to redo the registration. Click here to read all the fine print on the national list.
My phone already rings constantly, no need for all those extra calls…especially when you pay for the minutes on your cell phone.
The links to the Do Not Call Lists are just one of the things that are always included in a resource list that I send out to all of my buyer clients when they purchase a new home. I also remind them to change their locks and give them links to Voter Registration, plus phone numbers for services and contractors that they might find helpful. If you are in need of suggestion on who to call for just about anything, send me an email or leave a comment below and I’ll try to point you in the right direction.
